I am joining this KAL, too. It looks like a very interesting pattern and I can't wait to start. When do we start?

In response to Margaret in post 88. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 10 years old, and I'm now older than she was then, and when I started this shrug I couldn't figure out what KFB meant. When I finally realized it was an increase row the lightbulb went off, but after all these years you'd think I'd recognize the abbreviations so I know how you feel. It was good for a chuckle.

This is my first KAL and I'm enjoying the experience.

Hello,
I have never done this before, am a total dunce with computer technology but this is too exciting to pass up..
Can't wait to learn how to knit on circular needles and to make this adorable shrug.

I just started this for my daughter and can't believe I had to research reverse stitch...I've been knitting for 45 years! Guess there's still more to learn even at my age!

Thank you for a knit-a-long! I participated in the crocet-a-long last month. It was GREAT!!!! This time I will be paticipating and sharing the item for my family member with stage four cancer. I think the time making it while sharing time with her, will be a relaxing time for the both of us.

I really enjoy your web site and blogs. Keep up the good work!

This will be fun. It's my first KAL. None of my friends knit, so now I won't be lonely anymore.

Never blogged before--but love to knit and crochet. I work at Curves and we have our own "Busy Fingers" group that makes chemo hats, preemie hats, adult slippers and lap robes for our local needy. We also make burial gowns/buntings for Angel Babies who did not stay in our world for long. I look forward to trying some new things we can make and share.....
