If you haven’t had a chance to make it to our special retail store in New York City, the Lion Brand Yarn Studio, we’ve got a special treat for you! Two friends of ours are going to take you for a special virtual, pictorial tour!
Meet the Studio Squirrels! Sadie and Hazel (short for Hazelnut) show you all the fun things you can do at the Studio. Hazel tries yarns at the Sampling Wall, picks a pattern, gets a private lesson from Will, and even helps ring up customers at the register! Sadie winds a ball on the ball winder, shops around for various yarns and accessories, and learns to machine-knit. Follow Sadie and Hazel on their Studio adventure by clicking on the slideshow below!
And if you have a chance to visit the Studio, say hi to Sadie and Hazel! They will be part of our new window display until the fall! For information and hours about this special retail location go to the Lion Brand Yarn Studio website.

We love to knit and crochet!
-
-
I checked out Homespun on the Sampling Wall.
-
-
We played hide-and-seek in the blankets.
-
-
I was peeking to find Hazel…
-
-
And I found her!
-
-
We tried on hat and scarf samples.
-
-
I tried out the weaving loom.
-
-
…while I learned to wind a center-pull ball.
-
-
I looked at over 800 colors of LB Yarns!
-
-
…while I picked a FREE pattern!
-
-
Then I took a private lesson with Will.
-
-
…and I browsed for the perfect Homespun color.
-
-
It’s the only store that carries the LB Collection!
-
-
I climbed to get Sadie a cone of LB 1878.
-
-
Then I took my yarn to check out.
-
-
I manned the register to help Sadie check-out.
-
-
We looked at great bags for yarn-lovers.
-
-
I love this shawl pin! It’s almost as big as me!
-
-
I tried out machine-knitting!
-
-
So I took a coffee break…
-
-
…and did a little reading.
-
-
Next, I was recruited to be a model.
-
-
Like Hazel, I was put to work too.
-
-
How do we look?
-
-
Here we are in the new window!
-
-
We’ll be here into the fall! Come say hi!
