Personally I don't think that Mr. Handsome has received enough accolades for his humanitarian efforts. In my opinion a lot of celebrity do-gooders are totally phony and engage in so called good deeds merely for positive publicity. I have to say that I don't think that George is one of the phonies out there in the world of celbrity do-gooders. I admire what he is doing for the Haitian people. I wish more celebrities were as real as he is when it comes to helping out those less fortunate in the world. So kudos to George and his desire to make this world a better place.

Joan,

Would you please share the name of the book that you found in your library? I'm curious to see the 50 patterns you speak of. Almost interested in doing something different. Thanks in advance.

Well, I enjoyed making the square vest so much in the multicolored yarn that I'm working on the fourth one now. I intend to go back to making squares after this one is finished. The knit-a-square project has some great patterns at their site and I found a book at the library of 50 crocheted square patterns. So I'm good to go!

I have finished 4 hats, a scarf and a small bunny for my Romanian charity and have tentatively started to organise a group of friends and acquaintances who knit or crochet with the idea of getting together to craft. I think I will feel even more motivated with people to share my hobby with.
