Thank you for setting this out, you have helped a lot of us distressed with the corresponding problem. The route to dryness is not an easy one to take. But with a tremendous dose of dedication, aid from a total treatment and a lot of support from a loved one, the path away from alcohol addiction becomes easier the further you go along.

Hello, I am excited about CAL, but have we started this sweater yet? I'm not sure how to keep up: through email or just reading the blogs, I'm not sure, please help. Hello everyone, I got my yarn and ready to go. I love to crochet & I’ve been crocheting for a while but my first time with CAL.

I have one question, does this Beach Cardi have a length? I am 5’1″ and I have noticed that a few things I’ve made was always too long for me. Is there an adjustment for length?

Thank you and I’ll be hitting the needle tomorrow.

Zontee says: Hi Bennette and welcome! If you look at the pattern, you will see that it tells you to work the two front pieces and the back piece until you have a certain length. If you want to make it shorter, just use a smaller measurement for that length (maybe 3 to 5 inches less, depending on where you want it to hit your body).

Hi everyone! I guess better late than never! My name is Jenna and I’m from Maryland. I love to crochet. I mostly make blankets and I’ve recently started making stuffed animals. This is my first time making a type of cardigan. I think this will be fun! happy crocheting!!!

I am truly excite to participate in the Spring 2010 Crochet-Along. This is my first CAL. I have crochet other items, but this is my first time crocheting a beach cover-up/cardigan. It should be fun crocheting with other people. I hope I can keep up with everyone. I am looking forward to see the finished project.

I am ready and excited. This is my first CAL, hopefully I will be able to keep up and stay on schedule. This should really be great. Can’t wait to see the finished project. I decided to use two colors of yarn, now have to decide the best way to incorportate both colors.

A so excited to be doing something more than an afghan, slippers or hats! I too have chosen a more affordable brand of yarn and have started already. I am pleased to say I am happy with the results of what I have done so far!

I have a really basic question - Is there a simple way to find the yarn end when starting with a new skein that feeds from inside the center of the skein? Sometimes I find it easily and sometimes I end up with a tangled mess....
