Hello everyone, I got my yarn and ready to go. I love to crochet & I've been crocheting for a while but my first time with CAL.

I have one question, does this Beach Cardi have a length? I am 5'1" and I have noticed that a few things I've made was always too long for me. Is there an adjustment for length?

Thank you and I'll be hitting the needle tomorrow.

Zontee says: Hi Bennette and welcome! If you look at the pattern, you will see that it tells you to work the two front pieces and the back piece until you have a certain length. If you want to make it shorter, just use a smaller measurement for that length (maybe 3 to 5 inches less, depending on where you want it to hit your body).

I am truly excite to participate in the Spring 2010 Crochet-Along. This is my first CAL. I have crochet other items, but this is my first time crocheting a beach cover-up/cardigan. It should be fun crocheting with other people. I hope I can keep up with everyone. I am looking forward to see the finished project.

A so excited to be doing something more than an afghan, slippers or hats! I too have chosen a more affordable brand of yarn and have started already. I am pleased to say I am happy with the results of what I have done so far!

I have a really basic question - Is there a simple way to find the yarn end when starting with a new skein that feeds from inside the center of the skein? Sometimes I find it easily and sometimes I end up with a tangled mess....

Zontee says: Hi Louise, in fact we have an FAQ about it in the LionBrand.com Learning Center, where you can find answers to many common questions. Click here to read it.
