Hi Crocheters! I am almost finished with the first sleave. I agree with Joyce T. Kendra. I like the hood better. The hood appears to flow from the front panels better than the collar. I hope I can catch up. :)

Why not do both. In some parts of the country a hood might be best and in others a collar. We're still pretty chilly out here and we're 90 to 100 miles outside of NYC. A hood sounds good right now.

Zontee says: Hi Pat, just to clarify, Kendra's put out both options since they're different people might like one versus the other, but she's asking for feedback on which one SHE should do.

I'm still working on the sleeves (was out of town and couldn't take the project with me). I like the shorter sleeves too. But I kept the raglan look.... just stopped the sleeves at the elbow.

I was considering the collar even before you mentioned it. I would like to see a picture of it.

I really like this pattern! It's easy! I'm thinking of using the same pattern with a closer stitch to make it more of a cardigan.

Kendra says: The picture of the collar has been added, sorry it took me a couple days! Please let me know you're thoughts and if you have any trouble adapting the pattern for your own cardigan. So glad you are finding the pattern so simple and it's great to think of further ways to change it to fit your needs :)

Also, you mentioned your modified collar but there is no picture of it. I would love to see what it turned out like!

Kendra says: Sorry about that! Somehow the pictures didn't load properly, but they are there now! Please check it out and let me know what you think :) Thanks for helping me catch that mistake...whoops!

I am loving this project! I actually skipped the arms, leaving them for last and moved right into the hood because I was so excited to see what it would look like. I too had to take out some of the shoulder seams to give it a little extra room in the neck area. But it's turning out great!

Arg| Back to square one or should I say chain one. I did my gauge test and I decided to use 6mm hook which gave me the right gauge...but as I reached the armhole shaping, I decided to measure and...too small ....So I frogged every single or half double stitch and got a 6.5mm hook. So this morning I started a sample to see what it gave me. But had to stop my grand-daughter whom I'm babysitting today has just woken up. Will finish tonight. Let's hope I can get this ball rolling again.
