Spotted: Clever Clay Vases Mimic Yarn
January 11th, 2011
Think these are just average cones of yarn and some basic knitted fabric? Think again! These pieces are incredibly convincing clay and concrete vases (yes, you can put flowers in them) created by Xinyaoyao Design Studio. I love that these pieces are inspired by yarn and embroidery with a look that’s familiar to us as yarncrafters, and yet they are created in a completely different medium and with a completely different feel and purpose!
