Well there is Phoebe's Sweater (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0578046970?ie=UTF8&tag=stathanablog-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=0578046970) and Freddie's Blanket http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0578071991?ie=UTF8&tag=stathanablog-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=0578071991) (both by Joann Johnson) are wonderful (and the designs included are gorgeous!). I love all the Jan Brett books because she always has lots of hand-knits drawn into her stories (and some are about hand-knits ... The Mitten, The Hat, etc).

Also, last year I found The First Christmas Stocking (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003IWYI1Y?ie=UTF8&tag=stathanablog-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B003IWYI1Y) -- which would make a lovely book with a first stocking for a newborn!

LOVE finding books that link knitting and reading ....
