What do you do at Lion Brand?
I will be running the new Lion Brand Studio in the Fall.

When did you start working at Lion Brand?
I came on board last September.

What is your earliest yarn memory?
I was about seven years old, had just taught myself how to crochet and my Aunt showed me how to work a double and triple. I had only mastered singles and was completely mesmerized.

What is one place you’ve always wanted to visit?
Without hesitation: the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania. Ever since I was in high school, I’ve wanted to visit the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania. I once had a wonderful teacher, Madeline Kelly, who taught a class on it and ever since then, the extraordinary animals and plant life there have lived in my imagination. I remember studying the behavior and socialization of hyenas, lions and dik diks (these graceful dwarf antelopes) and feeling endlessly fascinated. Being able to finally see these creatures in person would be magical.
