August 2008.
What do you do when you’re not working at Lion Brand?
Knit, knit, & spin. In the non-fiber world, I love growing veggies on my roof top garden in Park Slope. I love Brooklyn and try to never leave it on my days off.
What is your earliest yarn memory?
Making a horrible looking Dr. Who scarf for my friend. My mother taught me how to cast on, knit & purl, but she couldn’t remember how to cast off. That scarf still sits somewhere on a pair of needles.
What kind of yarn-crafter are you? What do you like to make? Why do you knit and/or crochet?
I am a knitter & spinner. My spinning is not so great, but I’m getting better. My knitting is primarily sweaters and tops. I love making clothes for myself, and when my husband mentions it’s been awhile . . . a sweater for him too.
