I love making socks because they’re small, portable, and great for trying new stitches. Many of you on Facebook and Twitter have been asking for help making socks. Our new videos teach you how to knit socks step-by-step. Learn how to use double pointed needles and make a comfortable pair of socks from the cuff down! I used the Mens Grey Socks pattern with Wool-Ease in Gold.

We love to see new and creative uses of yarn. British director Sarah Cox created a knitted short film called “Don’t Let It All Unravel,” that draws attention to the global climate crisis. The piece has been to film festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival, the Live Earth Film Project, and the Encounters Film Festival just last month.

We presented our annual fashion show hosted by Vanna White at the Crafts and Hobby Association Show in February. Here’s a video of the show, including conceptual pieces, as well as practical fashion and home dec items. The coat shown below is a longer version of the Extra Easy, Extra Fabulous Sweater, which is one of our most popular patterns. We’ll be posting a pattern for this longer version when our new catalog is comes out in September. The Easy Does It Blanket can be found on our Pattern Finder right now.
