In January, Lion Brand exhibited at Vogue Knitting Live NYC and it was such a fun-filled, “yarny” experience. We had knitwear designers Lily Chin, Franklin Habit, and Nicky Epstein stop by the booth for book signings, we sold some of our newest yarns like Keppi, Unique, Heartland and LB Collection Silk, and chatted with some Lion Brand enthusiasts who enjoyed posing for pictures. Take a look at some of the great moments we captured with folks who stopped by our booth!
Lily Chin crochets a Homespun afghan and signs copies of her book “Crochet Tips & Tricks“ |
Franklin Habit signs copies of the illustration from his blog post “Having a Ball, Wish You Were Here” on the Lion Brand blog |
Nicky Epstein signs copies of her books “Knits for Dolls” and “Crochet for Dolls: 25 Fun, Fabulous Outfits for 18-inch Dolls“ |
Margaret Hubert shows off her jacket made with Bonbons and LB Collection Baby Alpaca. This pattern is in her latest book, Granny Square Flowers: 50 Botanical Crochet Motifs and 15 Original Projects. |
This fan shows off her beautiful Mitered Shawl, made in Amazing yarn. |
Kristy Glass from Glass Posse, stopped by to chat about the Hunger Games with Ceresa from Lion Brand’s Design Department, who is wearing the crocheted District 12 wrap. |
Lacey from the blog Ktog stopped by to show off her sweater knit with Hometown USA. The cool thing about Lacey’s sleeves is that they’re a cast on row for what could be an arm knit project. | This fan showed off her Sunset Shrug made in the ever popular, Heartland yarn. | Marion Edmonds, author of When Bad Things Happen to Good Knitters stopped by to show off one of the patterns from her book made in LB Collection Angora Merino. |
We look forward to having more, great Vogue Knitting Live! fun when we visit Seattle in March – see you there!
