The embroidered hat – in Bonbon, Wool Ease .and Thick and Quick – is it knitted with all three yarns knitted together as a single strand? a size 11 needle seems very big for a single strand otherwise…

Yvette, this knit had is made with one single strand, and then embroidered. Wool-Ease Thick &Quick is one of our bulky yarns so the needle size should suffice. Hope this helps.
