Vote for Vanna White for CGOA Hall of Fame

In previous years, I have been a member of the board of directors for the Crochet Guild of America.  While I am not currently on the board, I am still eligible to nominate appointees to the CGOA Jean Leinhause Hall of Fame. This year I have decided to nominate Vanna White.

Not only is she an avid crocheter, she is also a role model for the craft. Vanna has publicly spoken about her love of crochet both in interviews and on her show, Wheel of Fortune. She even crochets backstage! In addition, her partnership with Lion Brand has raised over 1.8 million dollars for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Who could be a better choice for the hall of fame than someone with her own line of yarn?

All CGOA members are eligible to vote! If Vanna won, they could invite her to attend the Chain Link Conference. Wouldn’t it be great to have an opportunity to meet this television icon? You can vote for her here.
