14 Outlander Inspired Patterns to Make on World Outlander Day

Outlander Inspired Knit & Crochet Patterns

The Journey to Standing Stones Arm Warmers (left) and the Pursuit of Craigh na Dun Arm Warmers (right) are both worked from Heartland yarn in the Olympic color.

 The Lavish Mac Kenzie Clan Shawl (crochet) shown at left and the Transported to 1743 (knit) shown at right are variations of the same design. Both use 3 colors of Heartland yarn in Mount Rainier (2 balls), Great Smoky Mountains (1 ball), and Glacier Bay (1 ball).

 These designs call for a single skein (each) of Homespun yarn in the Barley colorway. On the left is The Hunt Enthralling Capelet (crochet) and on the right is the Awakened Witch Trial capelet (knit).

The Arrival at Lallybroch Shawl (Crochet) shown at left and the Wavering Both Sides Now Shawl (Knit) each take 2 skeins of Homespun yarn in the Nouveau colorway.

These pretty short-sleeve shrugs are worked in a single ball (per shrug) of Landscapes yarn in the Sand Dune colorway. Claire’s Heroic Healing Shrug (Crochet) is featured on the left and Claire’s Captivating Castle Leoch Shrug (Knit) is shown on the right.

Work up these bulky cowls in just a couple episodes of Outlander using 2 balls (per design) of Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick® yarn in the Barley colorway. Shown on the left is the Sassenach Heartwarming Infinity Cowl (Crochet) and on the right is Return to Inverness Cowl (Knit).

The Way Out Captivating Capelet (Crochet) shown at left and the Gathering Spellbinding Capelet (Knit) are each knit with 2 balls Homespun® Thick & Quick® yarn in the Edwardian colorway.
