Fall is officially here! If you’ve been dreaming of cooler weather it’s here, or should be soon enough. Get your wardrobe ready with some quick accessories projects.
Tip: These also make great quick gift ideas if you find yourself procrastinating on holiday crafting. (Pretty much me every year. Not alone, right?)
Hats are my favorite fast project. They’re practical and you can experiment with colors and textures you might not wear on a larger garment. This classic ear flap hat is knit using Scarfie yarn, a bulky weight acrylic/wool blend.
On size 11 needles and Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn, this is truly a quick knit project. And it’s a classic that can easily be worn by anyone.
Size 19 needles! Need I say more? This large cowl sits on or over your shoulders. Whip it up in 6 balls of your favorite Wool-Ease Thick & Quick color.
Headbands come in handy when it’s not quite cool enough for a hat or when messing up our hair just isn’t an option. This super bulky set provides a little extra warmth before full on winter weather kicks in.
Fast, fun, warm. The Anders cowl is crocheted in Homespun Thick & Quick. This means the large stitches have great texture.
The name pretty much sums up this classic hat silhouette. Crocheted in Touch of Alpaca yarn.
Two colors of Heartland Yarn ebb and flow in this pretty cowl. Mix and match for your perfect color combination.
Buttons or no buttons. Pom or no pom. Mix and match or use both accents to make this hat suited to you. Crocheted in the classic worsted weight wool blend, Wool-Ease.

Like the crochet and knit designation up front. Thx for free patterns as many are unable to use certain yarns due to Difficulties with rashes or other allergic reactions. Substitutions are paramount. Like to see sugesstiions.

Hi there, a lot of times if pattern calls for a certain yarn, and I don’t have it or similar , I will check gauge, find a yarn that works and change out that. Also if wool is used I use acrylic as some people are allergic to it. Plus if it is a bulky weight, and I have worsted, I double yarn. Still check gauge and go from there

Why so MANY crochet patterns? I am a knitter, plan to remain a knitter, and would appreciate
a FEW patterns in knitting! It’s really frustrating.
Erica Jackofsky
Hi! I’m primarily a knitter too! 🙂 I try and split these lists as evenly as possible between knit and crochet. The first four here are knit.
