  • I was very disappointed with some Vanna’s Choice Baby yarn I was using.  One ball had two knots and a snag in it and another had a prple thread thru some of it. Of course it landed right in the middle of the front of the baby sweater I was knitting. It was quite a challenge. I am usually very satisfied with your yarn. But was very disappointed in this.

    • Hi Bcolvin3, we’re sorry to hear that. Your satisfaction is very important to us; please email support@lionbrand.com and we would be happy to replace the yarn.

    • I made a shawl using regular Vanna yarn, and the yarn constantly split.  Nice color, but poor quality yarn.  I don’t purchase it anymore.

      • Hi Carol, if you find that a particular yarn is splitting a lot for you, here’s a tip: It may be that as you’re wrapping your yarn around your hook/needle that you’re twisting against the twist of the yarn (making it looser). We all wrap our yarn a little differently, and with every ball, each of us works either with or against the twist of the yarn  a little bit. If you find that this is happening, we suggest that you work from the opposite tail of the yarn so that you’re working with the twist. Hope that helps!

  • For over 50 years I have found that some colors will split easier than others – even in very high quality/expensive yarns.  I like the Vanna yarn – give it another try.

  • Also had problem with Vannas yarn. It is called Glamour. Had knots in it.
