About two weeks ago I was on the Lion Brand Yarn Facebook page and read a comment from a fan who inquired about crafting a gift for someone who would be giving birth to a Leo. Immediately, I thought, “Awww!” Since I am a Leo myself, I knew I would have to find some lion amigurumi for all the fellow Leos or lion lovers out there. Lion Brand Yarn has 3 cute lion amigurumi (stuffed animals) patterns available online which would make a great gift for a Leo, especially a baby. I wish someone had knit or crocheted a little lion for me when I was a baby; who doesn’t appreciate handmade gifts?
July 23- August 22 celebrates the Leo, a prideful and protective lion who rules the safari but who also has a warmhearted and soft side.

Love these! I’m going to have to make me one (or 3) to add to my lion collection.
