Can crocheters get involve to with the WWKIP Day?
I’m very excited about this event, even though I’m a crocheter. I’ll get to see some knitting action in progress. Maybe I’ll learn some basic knitting lessons and teach some bsic crochet as well. 🙂

Hi, Harriett. Crocheters can absolutely get involved! It’s a great day for all yarn lovers to come together in public and connect with one another. I hope you have fun!

I knit in public all the time: while waiting in the doctor’s office, waiting for my husband to join me at the YMCA, between races at Keeneland. There is no better ice-breaker or conversation opener than a pair of needles and some yarn! And in the end, you have a lovely scarf, dish cloth, or pot holder. You don’t need a special day to Knit in Public.
