Contact/FAQs

If you have a question about the blog that is not answered below, please send an email to blog [at] lionbrand [dot] com. If you’d like to contact one of the bloggers individually, please designate that by placing his/her name in the subject line of the email.

For all comments and concerns NOT related to the blog–such as questions about Lion Brand yarns, patterns, or other products–please use the appropriate form on LionBrand.com’s contact page.

Q: Do I need a LionBrand.com account to view/comment on the blog?
A: No, you don’t need any kind of account to read or comment on a blog post! We use a third-party commenting software called Disqus, which if you already use it on other websites, can be used to comment on the Lion Brand Notebook. But you can also login with a Google, Twitter, or Facebook account if you wish OR you can simply use it as a guest!

Q: I’m subscribed to your blog through email, how do I update my email address?
A: Blog posts are sent through a free service of Feedburner/Google, NOT a LionBrand.com-controlled subscription. Because of this, we cannot change your subscription for you. Please unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of your blog alert e-mail from your old e-mail address, and then resubscribe with your new e-mail address on our Subscribe page.

Q: I’m reading your blog posts in my email or through an RSS reader. I can’t seem to see the video or surveys.
A: Some content isn’t supported by your email or RSS; if that’s the case, click on the title of the post to see the content directly on our website.

Q: Can I submit content to you?
A: We do not accept unsolicited blog posts, and we do NOT run content that does not have to do with knitting/crocheting/yarn.

If you are a knitting/crochet/yarncrafting blogger or teacher who would like to submit a proposal to us, please be sure to include links to sample blog posts, your social media stats, and a list of a few topics that you may want to write about. Please note that due to the volume of submissions, we will only contact you if we are interested in your proposal.
