Here we are again, curvy girls! This past week you should have been working on the right front. If you’re more speedy than I am, you should have made it up to the point just before you start decreasing for the neck.
How did that work out for you? It was fairly similar to the previous panel — just reversed — but if there are any questions, you should always ask! Just leave a comment on this post or hop on over to the Ravelry group to chat about it.
As I mentioned, I had some trouble keeping pace last week. Without getting too deep into details, there were some personal things I had to take care of and my knitting suffered. But no more worries! That’s all in the past and I’m caught up. I finished the right front, and now all that’s left is the sleeves and the seaming. It’s so close I can taste it!
Not that I haven’t enjoyed our time knitting together, but I am really looking forward to wearing this sweater.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to follow my lead and finish up that right front section, decreasing and binding off as needed, then leaving the end on a holder.
When you’re done with that, you’ll have two mirrored pieces, and hopefully the arm holes and collar portions will all line up. I kept my left front panel with me while I was working on the right side so that I could make sure they matched up as I went.
Thankfully, everything lines up perfectly.
I also played one of my more harrowing games of yarn chicken this week. Look at the little bit I had left over at the end of one of my rows! It was just barely enough to weave in with the new ball, but I managed.
Next up, it’s on to the sleeves!
