Hope you like it!!!
Jennifer Grant
Your brother said it would be “totally iced” if we had the same costume. Isn’t it? Isn’t it totally iced?
Jess Says: Jennifer, remember to enter your caption in the survey above to be officially entered into the contest.
Julie
Fun contest.
Donna Jeays
Well, isn’t this embarrassing. The guy in the store insisted that they only had one lion costume
Jess Says: Hi, Donna. Remember to enter your caption through the survey above to be entered into the contest.
Lillian Bolte
What?!! 18 or older? Danget! I had a good one!
Anne Oakes
Oh how precious “little lion”! You’re the lucky one sweetie because your treat is any Lion Brand yarn you want!
Jess Says: Hi, Anne. Remember to enter your caption through the survey above to be entered into the contest.
Janet Saunders
I’m Lion Wooooooool! You guys must be Jiffy, Thick and Quick!
Jess Says: Hi, Janet. Remember to enter your caption through the survey above to be entered into the contest.
Diana
Hey, we both match, that means an extra crocheted candy, the best is the lionbrand ones, don’t eat them all at once.
Lola
My name is Lola and my last name Leon, is not joke, but there is very graceful similarity to me that your contest the lion is called Lola.
I do not speak English and use a translator, please excuse the possible errors.
Regards
LOLA
Jess Says: What a great coincidence, Lola!
Susan
I got the memo, Kid. Now take some candy!
Jess Says: Hi, Susan. Remember to enter your caption through the survey above to be entered into the contest.
Rebecca Anderson
Well this is the popular costume this year, I bet you didn’t have to alter yours at all!
Jess Says: Hi, Rebecca. Remember to enter your caption through the survey above to be entered into the contest.
Thelma
Love the yarn and patterns – nice cartoon
Jess Says: Thanks, Thelma!
Diane Zawislak
No lion about it. You can hear me purling about Halloween.
Jess Says: Hi, Diane. Remember to enter your caption through the survey above to be entered into the contest.
Lynn Drzewucki
Well, now “Leo”, I take “pride” in my costume, too. So have some candy on me!
Jess Says: Hi, Lynn. As it says above, please make sure to enter your caption into the survey for your chance to win.
Kim
Perhaps I just do not see it, but I do not see any link or survey on this site. Maybe that’s why people keep leaving their suggestions as a reply?
Jess Says: Hi, Kim. The survey is embedded immediately below the Lola comic.
Kirk
The survey is not showing on the website, for some reason!
After some nosing in the source code, it’s here if anyone else can’t see it:

Kim
That is so weird. NOW the survey is there. How odd. Never mind.
Millie
No candy for anyone who makes me look fat in my costume!
Jess Says: Millie, remember to enter your caption in the survey above to be officially entered into the contest.
Sean
Can you enter more than once?
Jess Says: Hi, Sean. Only one entry per person. Thanks for pointing that out!
Mary
Sorry to read, after I had already submitted an entry, that you can only send in one. I thought of an ‘improvement’ after I sent my caption. Bummer!!!
Vicki Davidson
Oh dear – is it possible if I can re-do mine? I did a caption for the little boy lion instead of the grandma.
Karen
No, I didn’t knit the candy. I did knit the wrapping, though.
Jess Says: Hi, Karen. Make sure you fill in the embedded survey to make your caption count.
Jane Wilkins
Some great comments!
Debbie
I still don’t see the survey….just a website.
Jess Says: Debbie, the survey is embedded directly below the Lola comic.
Garnetgirl64
Still didn’t get me the survey….disappointed that my caption did not go through because of this.

Looks like someone is going to get a real treat!
Colleen
Brings back memories – Best “Treat” I ever got was when my neighbor Mrs W. taught me to knit and crochet. She made slippers for the other kids, but took the time to teach ME! No dispute as to who got the best gift – eternally grateful – I bless her every time I pick up my needles or hook.
Noreen
I enjoyed last years entries and reading Lola not to mention my favorite yarn brand having a lion as a logo, is my favorite wild animal. I had a lion when I was a teenager-for a short time till she got to large to feed. The heads used to turn when I walked her on a leash in the neighborhood. Good luck to everyone.
Lois Schren
I am sure that’s what she would say!
Peg Graham
I wrote:
“I see somebody’s mother used a little Fun Fur!”
Laura Andrews
This is my first time entering. Lots of fun!
Bev Youngblood
This is a lot of Fun, I hope I win…..
🙂
bethanny
I wish you didn’t have to be 18. I’ll be 18 in a couple of weeks.
Garnet
Lola always has the best treats!
Elaine kennedy
Not sure if my entry was accepted. Once I hit enter the survey button showed on the screen.
Jess Says: Hi, Elaine. I double-checked, and your caption went through just fine. Thanks for entering!
pat
I am not sure if my submission went through. I said Lola said I wrapped your treats in little crochet wraps made with Lion Brand yarn.
Terri
Lola cracks me up!
krystal goh
HI Jess, i can’t seem to find the link. pls let me know how i can connect to the survey for the caption entry?
thanks!
Hi, Krystal. You should see it embedded directly below the Lola comic. If you can’t see it, please let me know.
Sheila
Hi 😉 I think the problem stems from the fact that it is not a “survey” that people are taking. It is simply supplying your personal informatin (not opinions, etc.) Unless I, too missed the survey? I would really like my entry in also 🙂 Thanks, Sheila G
Jess Says: You did it completely correctly, Sheila.
Ruthmarie
Two days ago I typed in a response in the “survey” section somewhere around #14, including a caption. The caption posting has never appeared and the survey link now tells me cheerfully “Thank you for taking the survey”. You folks have been having quite the trouble with this!
Jess Says: Hi, Ruthmarie. Your entry will remain private and will not be visible to others; you’re just seeing the comments people have made to the post. You completed the survey correctly.
Audrey Stapleford
What survey?
Susan Parker
The survey is directly below Lola.
It’s separate from the comments section and your caption won’t appear in the comments section, at least, that’s how I understand it.
Janet Saunders
I posted a comment on Oct 22nd and still cannot see any survey either…when I click on “learn more” under the Survey Monkey” it wants me to sign up for something.
Jess Says: Janet, you completed the survey correctly.
Patricia
I’m SO disappointed. I see no survey. When I click on the embedded code, it just brings up the ad for Survey Monkey – no Lion Brand survey and I’m locked out of participating in this contest. Try it yourself – it isn’t there.
Jess Says: Patricia, your entry was submitted already.
Cheryl Schuessler
I posted my Lola caption on Oct. 22nd in the survey area below the cartoon but it never showed up on the list of entries. I don’t know if it went through or not but the survey thanked me.
Jess Says: Cheryl, your entry went through. The captions remain private and will not be displayed to others. You’re just seeing the entries to this blog post.
Elaine Moir
What no yarn?
Susan
This was great fun. Lola is my hero. My yarn collection keeps me (somewhat) sane.
Mary
I hope my entry went through 🙁 How do I know that it did?
When will the winners be posted?
Zontee
Hi Mary, if you entered by Oct. 31, your entry went through. Winners will be announced next week.
