The pattern comes in sizes S, M, L, 1X, and 2X. You will need 9, 11, 13, 14, or 16 balls, respectively. You’ll also need a size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook.

“You’ll also need a size I (9 mm) crochet hook.” Which do you mean: an I hook (which is 5.5 mm) or a 9 mm hook (which is size N)?

It’s an I-9 hook (5.5 mm). Sorry for the confusion! I’ve updated the post.

They are the same size, so it would likely work. Just make sure you swatch!
