  • why doesn’t anyone seem to make sport yarn in both Royal blue and bright orange – Fllorida Gator colors? I promised my granddaughter a scarf and can’t find the right colors in the same yarn.

    • Hi SLB, don’t forget to click through to the other yarn we recommended, Hometown USA: http://www.lionbrand.com/yarns/hometownUSA.html
Not only does it have a color called Gators in those shades, it also has blue and orange as solids. Enjoy!

      • thanks. that’s a help although I was really looking for something in a light weight sport yarn. These are a little overwhelming for someone who’s very slender.

    • If you use Hometown just make it with less stitches and long, they are always fun. If the pattern calls for 2 repeats just put in one or make the border thinner. That’s what i have done in the past.

      • Are you suggesting using larger needles or hooks than the pattern calls for?
