It’s a new year, so why not try some new yarn? We recently released WOW!®, which is a category 7 (jumbo!) wool/acrylic blend. It’s great for quick projects, or when you want to make something really cozy and warm. WOW!® retails for $19.99, and each skein is 21 yards. Hand wash it and dry it flat to clean. It’s 70% acrylic, 30% wool and comes in eight fun, eye-popping colors.

Of course, we wouldn’t tell you about our new yarn without giving you some patterns to go with it! We have several great patterns that use WOW!®, some of which only call for one skein. The great thing about a yarn this big is that you don’t need a lot of it, plus everything works up super fast. Most of these projects can be made in an evening, some in as little as an hour.

I’d love to make an Afghan with this yarn! How many skeins would I use and what size needles? Maybe size 50?

Hmmm . . . Do you really like this yarn and the projects you are showing? And you even have to hand wash and dry them! I am curious to learn how your regular knitting customers respond to this new yarn and how your sales are going. Good luck!

Agreed. Wow is right…..$1 a yard for yarn??? Patterns are unimpressive except for the pillow but it would cost $80 for the 4 skeins needed to make this so I will pass.

I am so didappointed in this price. It is much too expensive. An Afghan would cost hundreds of dollars. Lion Brand, you need to do better than this.

love the look of the yarn but price is just way to high. A lap blanket would be nice but totally to expensive for me and the hand wash isn’t great for blankets. Bummer.
