It’s a bittersweet time for the Harry Potter fans this July; as the movie release is right around the corner, we look forward to what might be an epic film, but unfortunately it will be the last. Our lovely Lion Brand Yarn customers have shared some of their Harry Potter inspired designs with us, and we would like to share them with you all as well.

Ravenclaw colors are supposed to be dark blue and bronze 😉
Angel
Ravenclaw was dark blue and bronze until Prisoner of Azcaban, which it was then changed to dark blue and Silver 🙂

Is there a pattern (or something similar) for Crochet Gryffindor Fingerless GlovesCreated by: Cynthia Parkill?
I’d love to crochet some fingerless gloves in a simple pattern stitch.
Zontee
Hi Debbie, just type “crochet fingerless glove” into the search box at LionBrand.com to see some options like the All Seasons Wristers and the Fingerless Gloves.

zontee, what is your title on ravelry? cant find it. i mean your group. thanks.
Zontee
Hi Dal, there are a lot of Lion Brand-related groups on Ravelry. Lion Brand Cafe and Lion Brand Lovers are two fan-run groups, Lion Brand Yarn Studio is a group specifically for our store in NYC, and YarnCraft is the group for the audio-podcast that I co-host.

Oh, I love the Mrs. Weasley sweater! That’s just awesome (and of course now I want to make one for me!).

I too would love to crochet Molly Weasley’s sweater.
