  • I am crocheting that crochet valentine scarf out of vanna’s glamour. Using double crochet, made my own pattern. I chained 60″ and with each round it stretched so much, I now have 66″ and not half thru. Can someone tell me why the Vanna’s glamour is stretching so much? Just ripped out all I did on this scarf. Discouraged.

    • Mary Williams,

It is possible that you’re tension may be too loose. If you have any other questions regarding this pattern please feel free to contact our Customer Support. They will be happy to help if you have trouble on a pattern or stitch.

    • If you started w 60 stitches and ended up w 66 stitches then the yarn isn’t stretching you are adding a stitch in each round somewhere. Probably at the beginning or ending of your round.

  • Hello,

I have a question for you ladies, hopefully someone can help me out. First time crocheter here, I started on a poncho and I got a little over zealous and am half way done but am noticing it is way too big. Is there a way to cut it and sew it without it becoming unraveled? What else can I do without taking it apart and starting from the beginning?
