We here at Lion Brand love color! We love color so much, in fact, that we chose not one but twelve colors of the year. So it’s no surprise that National Crayon Day is one of our favorite niche holidays. It’s Crayon Day: Get Colorful!

One of our favorite ways to celebrate color here at Lion Brand is to feature Colors of the Year. We posted our Colors of the Year blog back in January, and have been highlighting a color each month to bring vibrancy to your crafting. You’d never choose just one crayon to get the job done… So how could we choose just one color for the whole year?

We’re dedicated to leading the industry in color direction. While trends are a powerful way to tap into which color is really ‘singing’ right now, we believe the whole choir of colors is necessary to bring our world to life. It’s one of the best parts of opening a box of crayons – all the possibilities!
