I echo Amanda… As a lefty, the molding on the handle matters a great deal to me.

Hi Amanda, the orange handled scissors are designed for right handed people. The options above are the only scissors of choice, as we already have them packaged as a giveaway bundle. The small folding scissors are universal, but the larger ones are right-handed ones. Fiskar does make left-handed ones. I don’t know why, but some left-handed ones have left-handed blades, and others have right-handed ones. I have both. Guess I have at least 4 or 5 pairs of Fiskars, my favorite brand. If I win, I’d give the right-handed scissors to my sister.

Lately there are a lot of babies being born-all boys. What little guy wouldn’t love cuddling up to this blanket with it’s great colors from birth to 1st grade or beyond. Fiskars have always been may favorites…not that I can keep up with them for long. (I think they are hiding out with mt stitch holders and tapestry needles…somewhere in this house…)

I would love to win this kit and make the afghan for the babies being born in home church. It seems we have had a boom on boys and they should have cuddly blankets as well as the little girls. Been crocheting since I was 16. Just love it. Now I crochet blankets for orphans around the world with the Jabez Blanket Ministry…. A small grassroots org. which relies entirely on donated yarns. Taught my developmentally delayed daughter how to crochet and she’s on her 6th blanket for Jabez….gives her pleasure and helps her self-esteem!
