Do you knit or crochet curled up with your favorite television show? When we first caught up with Outlander: The Series on Starz, we were hooked, in more ways than one.
Finding herself transported (through time!) from the 1940s to 1743, main character Claire Beauchamp journeys throughout the highlands of Scotland wearing incredible period pieces; we fell for her knit shawls almost immediately.
We’ve developed 14 knit and crochet kits inspired by garments worn in the series! Each piece was designed to emulate the styles and colors of Claire’s 18th century fashions. They’re all gorgeous cold-weather accessories that fans will love to wear this season.
Check out the video below to get the full behind-the-scenes experience of how these new patterns came to be; then, find links to knit and crochet kits for seven looks seen in the show.
Each Outlander: The Series knit or crochet kit includes all the yarn you need for the project, as well as a copy of the pattern. Head over to lionbrand.com now to order!

Will the Outlander patterns ever be offered as just patterns. I do not need the kit as I have an extensive supply of Lion Brand yarn already.

Will the Outlander patterns ever be offered as just patterns? I’d like to do the pattern in a different color. I’d like to buy just the pattern.
Kathi
I would like options for different color yarn for the projects
Dorothea Conde
I too, would like to just buy the patterns!
Mimi
It would be nice of we could just buy the pattern.
Amber
I would also like to purchase just the pattern, already have the yarn that’s included in the kits I’m interested in.
Jennifer McCraw
Will the patterns be offered as a book? I would love to purchase them all at once.
Annette DeBose
I am very happy that the patterns have been offered as downloads, however, I’d love to have the complete set. $35 for just knitting or crochet, is a pretty hefty price. Have you considered a “book” offer?
Grace
Way to go Lion Brand! I love the styling and the color choices are pretty darn near perfect. I’m also quite taken with all the lovely corsets!

Another vote for just the pattern…I have the yarn already. Please reply!

Hi Wendy,
Clicking the “Get instant downloadable pattern” will take you to just the paid pattern.

Hi, I downloaded them…thanks. I made the Wavering Both Sides Now and love it! The pattern Transported to 1743 Shawl directions are confusing…it appears to start at the lower back point but the directions state it is worked neck down. I’m having a hard time reconciling the instructions to the photo that came with them. Please advise how to get assistance. Thanks!
