One of my favorite parts of working at Lion Brand is seeing the fantastic projects my coworkers finish. I’m constantly inspired by their creativity and craftsmanship. Now I’d love to share with you some of the most recent finished projects spotted around the office.
Ceresa from our Design department followed along with the Mesh Raglan Pullover crochet-along. She used the recommended Recycled Cotton in Marine.
Margaret from Marketing knitted the Bow Tie Wrap from our Just Knits book. She used Amazing in Arcadia.
Kendra from the Lion Brand Yarn Studio got creative with our new Martha Stewart Crafts Cotton Hemp. For this simple cowl, she simple cast on 201 stitches in the Slate colorway. She then knit in seed stitch until she ran out of yarn.
Lion Brand Yarn Studio’s Claire crocheted another Angora Tam in Nectarine LB Collection Angora Merino.
As for me, I can’t stop knitting tiny things! All of these patterns come from Anna Hrachevoc’s book Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi. Clockwise from left: teeny-tiny cupcake knit with Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend in Sable, Winter Sky, and Lilac; teeny-tiny gnome in Martha Stewart Crafts Cotton Hemp in Slate, Peacock, Pink Taffy, Sour Cherry, Flour Sack White, and Picnic Green; teeny-tiny lion in Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend in Sable and Lemon Chiffon; and teeny-tiny eggs in Angel White and Sunshine Jamie.

Love the Mesh Raglan Pullover :) I just finished knitting a baby sweater, now starting a crocheted baby blanket. Once the blanket is complete, will then finish the knitted jacket I started a few weeks ago — hopefully in time for my mother’s birthday next month.

These are all very lovely. My favorite is the bow tie wrap. I love the color, it is beautiful! I can see that in a shiny color as welll over a beautiful dress for evening.Â

Its amazing how a beautiful woman like Ceresa can look even better with just the right color. I love that blue on her.Â

I love Ceresa’s pullover! Right now I’m crocheting a pirate blanket, 3 ghosts holding the letters B O O, and a tree made out of stars for Christmas.
Donna
what size needle for the cowl!!  Love it!

Size 9 🙂 So quick and simple, and super fun to wear because you can wrap it as many times as you want. I used 2 balls total. Enjoy!

Wonderful work by all!
I’m crocheting handbags that I’ve designed , in wool, to which I then felt in my washing machine. My favorite thing to do!

Good effort team! I have just finished a beautiful little doll for a friend’s granddaughter and now must finish the diagonal baby blanket I’ve been working on for my new baby grandson.

omgosh! I love Ceresa’s Reglan pullover in that BLUE! She looks so pretty in it too! They didn’t have hardly any good cotton yarn here in town when I made mine. I’ll have to make another one since now they have the recycled cotton. I also love Kendra’s cowl. I think I’ll have to make one too! It’s so nice to see what everyone is making. I like how the projects people make reflect their personalities. Margaret looks “amazing” in that bow and Claire’s hat definitely looks like it was made for her. She looks great in it.Â
I am knitting the wisteria pullover with the KAL group and love how it’s coming out so far.Â

The cowl is beautiful! I don’t like wearing necklaces so this is very appealing!
I just finished up a mining helmet (hard hat). Now I’m working on a mummy treat bag!

Building a plastic canvas dollhouse. Started it 25 years ago and put it away when I ran out of gray yarn before the roof was done and couldn’t find the right shade to finish it. 25 years later I’ve either learned patience or I’m just a bit insane. I cut out the old gray and started in again, this time with a full skein.

Just turned the cuff of an adult hat knitting on my CinDWoodcrafts peg loom. the yarn is LION Brand Tweed Stripes Orchid, and I love how the colors are blending. It will most likely go on the charity tree set up at our public library for the holidays

A sparkling version of the Bow Tie Wrap would be beautiful! I could definitely see it in Vanna’s Glamour; maybe knitted with Moonstone and Platinum held together.
