It’s Time to Shine with Shawl in a Ball® Metallic

We’ve debuted eight new metallic shades of our popular Shawl in a Ball® yarn, and you’re sure to fall in love with the shimmer! These new colors add just a touch of sparkle to bring flair and fun to your projects.

We took the stunning self-striping cotton blend fan favorite Shawl in a Ball® and made it glisten, which means the new yarns are the same weight and yardage as the original! You read that right: you can knit or crochet all your favorite Shawl in a Ball® patterns using these.

The New Colors

We made eight new shades that glisten. They’re just like regular Shawl in a Ball®, but they’ve got that little extra bit of shine.

On the top row, left to right, you see Om Opal, Prism, Namaste Neutrals, and Moonstone. On the bottom, also left to right, there’s Graceful Green, Wind Chimes, Lotus Blossom, and Cleansing Quartz. Each of these soft, lovely colors has a complementary metallic thread running through it. The shine is subtle. It doesn’t overpower the main colors, but catches the light to add a bit more pizzazz to the yarn.
