It’s our final scarf! Today, Claire shows off the simple-looking, but elegant rice stitch!
Over the last two weeks, we’ve shared with you some of the scarves we’ve been making for our Hat & Scarf Charity Drive at the Lion Brand Yarn Studio. Today, we finish our 8 days of scarves. Whether you’re making them as gifts or for charity, we hope you’ve enjoyed the inspiration & patterns for easy scarves from the Studio’s staff.
Claire’s Rice Stitch (shown in Vanna’s Choice Beige)
CO 25.
Row 1: P1 *K1tbl, P1, repeat from *.
Row 2: Knit.
Repeat these 2 rows.
Bind off and weave in ends.
*As with all of our scarf patterns shown, we only used one ball for our scarves, but you can use two and make them as long or short as you wish. Vanna’s Choice’s recommended hook size is J-10; its recommended needle size is US9.

Lion Brand Notebook…thanks so much for the wonderful eight days of scarves…i sooo looked forward to seeing the newest pattern each day…i’ve made one scarf so far and can’t wait to make the others…thanks and to everyone…have a wonderful thanksgiving…no matter what things seem like we all have something to be thankful for…

Can someone send me the scarf-a-day patterns? I have deleted a few of them and can’t seem to find them again. This is the perfect weather for scarf making! Thank you in advance

I really do appreciate all these scarf patterns…
What I just learned …. is that when I e-mailed what I thought was the whole page….. I e-mailed myself and I only got one pattern.
Is there any way you can e-mail the whole page at once ??? that would sure save alot of time.

Thanks for sharing the great scarf patterns. I will be using them with my beginning knitting class.
But, first, I need to know what “K1tbl” in the rice stitch pattern means….muchas gracias!

Thank you again so much for all the exciting scarf patterns. I think I have now printed them all out. I have counted 16. Did I find all of them ? Or am I missing a few ?
