Tea with Shira #21 How to Dye Yarn with Tea

My favorite things in one episode — tea and yarn!  (There aren’t any cats, but we can’t get everything!)

In this episode I sit down with Darrin, my friend and a teacher at Lion Brand’s flagship Studio in New York City.  He loves to knit, crochet, felt, spin his own yarn, but one of his favorite things to do is dye yarn.

I asked Darrin if it was possible to dye yarn with tea and he shared his tips with me for this episode. It’s so easy! I won’t spoil it, but he gives me an AMAZING gift at the end — this man is so crafty, I don’t think I can handle it!
