The Archie Effect

As 2019 came to a close most of us took a moment to reflect on the past year. Instagram was full of “year in review” videos but one of the top posts was actually of someone who isn’t even walking yet. The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry posted their year in review video and wrapped it up with a show-stopping ending! A never before seen photo of little baby Archie snapped by Meghan Markle herself! The full image only appeared in the video for a few seconds but that was more than enough time for it to go viral.

There are very few images of Archie online so this picture stood out right away as a new glimpse at the adorable toddler. Most viewers were looking at the cuteness of the new baby and at his adorable moccasins which were given to the Royals during their tour of Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and New Zealand last year.
