Welcome to The Look for Less with Kristy Glass, where we will help you find affordable alternatives to our more luxurious yarns so you can still make the patterns you love.
If you love the Snowdrops Reversible Cowl pattern but LB Collection® Superwash Merino isn’t in your budget, we can help. Substitute in Vanna’s Style® for a beautiful and affordable alternative. You can also adapt this pattern into a cute headband simply by cutting the number of chain stitches in half.

is there a knit similar version of this pattern?
Liza
We don’t have a direct translation for knitting, but we have a lot of knit cowls: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns#dir=asc&order=position&pattern_craft=18301&pattern_types=21294
You could always make a lace cowl or infinity scarf, then a plain one the same size and sew them together. It would achieve the same look.

I believe your yarns are very achievable and not at all expensive, do you think it is appropriate to suggest and $8.00 yarn that is always on sale might not be in a persons budget. Just seems a bit weird, who is your audience here? Maybe if you said that about your cashmere, I would get it.

Well, for some, every dollar and cent matters, so even $19 or so for all the yarn for this would be out of their budget. Crafting should be for everyone who wants to do it, so we want to make sure people know there are options in case money is tight.
