Colors are so so so important when I plan a project. It’s nice to see a good range of colors to match the pantone seasonal/annual colors.

LOVE them! I would wear any of them!
Ellen Mackler
I would love a project with ALL the colors! Some kind of fabulous ripple. That would make my Gramma Lucy proud. She loved to make ripple (chevron) afghans.

I I enjoy working in any color. All of these are wonderful. I can see all used in granny square/flower garden project :).

Thanks for this post and leading me to Pantone! I just finished writing my own post about color and you helped inspire me! I just love all the possibilities there are!

Aside from reading “ultramarine” as “uterine”, I LOVE the color spread: so many ideas come to mind for the girlfriends and for the grandsons!

These colors are inspiring and gorgeous. Every favorite color of all my grand daughters is covered and tons of projects to use them come to mind.

I really like that Seattle Sea Mist for my daughters (daughter-in-law too). I’m drawn to the Olympian Blue and the Ultramarine Green. My daughter-in-law would probably really like the Silky Twist in tangerine. We looked all over for tangerine in 2009 for her bridesmaid dresses in that color. Can’t wait to see these in stores.

Lovely!

Only 2 I’m not crazy about. But with others they look OK.
Candi
Have to go with the Seattle Sea Mist…simply because I live in Seattle…not thrilled with them as a whole.

Boo! They’re mostly cool colours and very girly too. I’m disappointed. 🙁

Tangerine Tango! It has been years since orange was considered a trendy shade; it is one of my best colors!
Jazzy Rose
These colors are wonderful. Most of them are my favorites and I would have no problem crocheting something with them…

Love them can’t wait to use them!!!!!!!!

I have to agree with Candi. I’m an Autumn, and most of these strike me as having too much pink or blue in them. Thank good ness there are so many other choices!

Tangerine was promoted as “the” color for this past summer but I didn’t seen anyone wearing it. The industry is trying to push it again? Bright chartreuse is pretty much a re-run of the color-of-the-season 7-8 summers ago; I still like it. Ultramarine (aka teal) is also a favorite of mine. What I’d really like to see as the “in” color is royal purple; bright and clear, not too dark and blue, and not too red/raspberry. At least the colors that have been determined by Pantone for this fall aren’t all dark and depressing; I’m so sick of seeing blacks and browns all winter long.

I LOVE Vanna’s yarn and colors the best of all. Keep them comming Vanna!! Crisp, bold and clean.
The texture is so soft and the stiches come out so beautiful. Thank you LB and Vanna.

I am so into color & love this array. So what if it was used in past seasons – if you love it then use it. This is self-expression & tells the world who you are. If you just use a color becuz it’s “in” this season, then you are letting the marketing wizards tell you who you are. Be inspired by what’s in – not let it dictate. The idea is to consider using different colors than your same-old same-old. Find one or two that speak to you and go with that and maybe choose a basic classic to pair it with. Have fun with color!

I would like to see more colours like Mustard yellow, pumpkin and other ‘autumn’ colours

I’m practically on a roll! I could at least tolerate 2 of this list’s trendy colors. The rest? Not so much.
