A few weeks ago, LBY-customer Lisa S. posted on the Lion Brand Yarn Studio’s Ravelry board some pretty cool news:
So I knit my sister a Golden Honey Shrug in the Sapphire colorway of Vanna’s Glamour and she wore it to the White House Christmas party last night!
How cool is that????
Lucky for us she shared pictures of her sister, Brenna (who looks beautiful in the shrug!), taken by her husband Chuck, who works in the White House photo office.

This shrug is just flat out gorgeous. I really enjoy lace, but this is knock-out beautiful. Oh this is going to be fun with different yarns. Thank you Vanna for bringing it to light. Happy Christmas, Linda

The White House?! That is so excellent! I wonder if Mrs. Obama saw it, she seems the type who would want to know about lovely fashions like this (and maybe knit one of her own!)
