A while back you may have read my post about Lion Brand’s presence at the Children’s Museum of the Arts annual street fair. We participated in the fair because we share CMA’s passion for bringing art to children, especially fiber arts! They word it perfectly when they describe their mission, “introducing children to the transformative power of the arts”.
Just a few weeks ago CMA revealed the art in their new summer window created by one of my favorite artists, Nathan Vincent. The giant ice cream cone installation is pictured above with two very enthusiastic fiber art fans. If you can’t tell from the photo, the yarn used is all Lion Brand. Can you spot any of your favorites? Why not take a stroll past the window the next time you are in NYC this summer to get a closer look?

You folks do an amazing job of giving back through your various community involvements! On top of that, you carry it out so creatively. The kids are certainly enjoying it.
By the way, I’ll have one of the middle cone please 😉
