Sunday December 7th was our very first Charity Knitting/Crochet day at the Lion Brand Yarn Studio. We had a great turn out and everyone had a ball.
If you live in the New York area and would like to visit the Studio (34 W. 15th Street New York, NY), it’s not too late to participate. You can still come by and pick up a folder with information and patterns. You get 10% off on all the yarn you buy in the Studio for the charity hats and when you turn the hats in you will receive a 20% off coupon for your next purchase in the Studio as our thank you.

Hi, my name is Cindy and I live in Montana. I want to start this email off by saying I am sooooo jealous of your store 🙂 Me and my husband went to NYC in Sept to see the Yankees play for the last time at the old stadium and then we come home and on my Lion Brand email you guys just opened this wonderful store in Sept or Oct. I would have loved to visit. In fact I would have been in yarn heaven. I have looked at the pics and the place just looks wonderful. The recent pics of you guys knitting, laughing and just having makes me envy you guys. I am sure that we will be back to NYC in the next 20 years and I am definately visiting the store. Well, happy knitting and have a wonderful holiday.

I wish I could be there. I wish I could be there. I will be sending invite to 10 of my crocheting and knitting friends for us to get together on the 1st of the year.
