We asked Sutton what her 5 favorite Lion Brand yarns were and why. She what she has to say below!

The Yarns
I’m a huge fan of Vanna’s Choice® yarn. It’s super easy to work with, durable, washable, and has a nice heavy weight to it. I’ve made most of my baby blankets out of this yarn, and am currently working on a patchwork afghan using 8 different colors. Tons of fun colors to choose from. The yarn has a nice weight to it so I find it to be a great yarn for beginners as well.
My second pick is Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®. This is my go to yarn for the little baskets that I’ve become obsessed with making. I’ve made baskets now for both Nico and Hilary on the show (Younger) and someone just requested that I make a little basket for their pet guinea pig! I’m a big fan of the sparkly colors – especially the dark purple and black. It’s a heavy weight yarn that works quickly so you can finish projects in a short amount of time.
SHOP FOR WOOL-EASE® THICK & QUICK® YARN
This is another heavier weight yarn in FANTASTIC colors. Color Made Easy® has a wonderful soft durable feel to it. I live with a toddler and two dogs so I’m always attracted to yarns that can be easily washed and that feel resilient!

I’m obsessed with the color palette of Jeans® yarn. I’m a jeans and t-shirt kinda gal… I LOVE the denim colors and natural feel and look of this yarn. I already have a ton of ideas of what to make with it.
How fabulous to have an acrylic blend with just a ‘touch of alpaca‘ to add incredible softness. I’m holding taupe in my hands now and I want to make hats for all of my friends and family. It’s so soft. Has a great light weight to it. AND is machine washable.
