  • That sounds like fun, and I have some ideas!

  • I would like to see some posts by left-handed knitters who used the “mirrored” method.

  • I would like to see posts about left-hand knitting/crochetting, too. My grandmother owned a yarn shop and taught left-handers with a mirror. Her daughter-in-law learned from her with this method. She never taught it to me, though, and I’d love to know how it works.

  • Sounds like a fantastic opportunity!  I have submitted my proposal.

  • I’d love to guest blog! I have a couple of blogs, and I do post my finished projects every now and then.  I’m pretty proud of them, usually!  I tend to be a spurt-crocheter, and I love to challenge myself, but find time is short a lot.  I’d love to talk about pick-up and carry with you projects: stuff that doesn’t take a lot of figuring and counting, like prayer shawls and stuff.  Things you can take with you, but you don’t have to always look at the directions or chart to work on.  Not that the more complicated isn’t fun, too.  It’s just more complicated, and easier to do in an evening in front of the TV instead of in a conference room or on the mass-transit of choice…

  • I would love to be a guest Blogger.  I have crocheted since being a teenager.   Last year I started knitting when we hosted an exchange student from Finland.  She taught me how to knit  socks, we made several pairs including socks with the traditional Lapland colors.  It was great fun.
I have crocheted  afghans, for babies, college and as a wedding presents  for my nieces  and nephews.
I have been blogging for a couple years and post most of my finished work,  which I consider art!!!
Over Labor Day weekend,  I am organizing an Artist Fair on a Cornell Lake, in Wisconsin.

  • I would like to blog for Lion Brand Yarn.  My blog url is http://www.dewberryridge.com/blogs/fiber-art-dreams.
Dewberry Ridge is a small, family-owned fiber art business.  We have a line of mini looms (various size squares and triangles)  and an adjustable triangle loom that adjusts from 7′, 6′, 5′, 4′, 3′ looms.   We also design and manufacture our own line of hand-turned crochet hooks and knitting needles.  Many of our customers use Lion Brand Yarn exclusively in their weaving, knitting and crocheting and we always share ideas and experiences.  I believe I could contribute to your readers by sharing these knitting, crocheting and weaving ideas and experiences.

  • We’re getting some wonderful responses and proposals, thank you!
