  • I love to play with granny squares to make something unique. Cotton is great for summer projects – not too warm and gets softer with age.

  • Just registered for the contest. I am currently working on a baby afghan that is one big granny square. I would like to see the book, I think it would be full of new ideas, that I could use, since I’m teaching myself crochet.

  • LOVE trying out new patterns! And love cotton yarn…use it all the time πŸ™‚

  • Im working on afghans for charity now, would love to have some spring color to do some granny squares for warmer months ahead .

  • Back in the last century when i was a teenager i learned from a book (remember those!) how to crochet, I made squares and motifs, jumpers, bags and scarves. I was transported back to that time by the photo on the cover of this book. What fun presents could I make from those squares? I am searching out some colourful yarn and a hook as soon as I finish typing………

  • I was given several bags of cotton yarn and have been looking for interesting ways to use some of it…this is perfect. Thanks so much for sharing others’ talents.

  • I have been teaching my nieces how to crochet & knit and this would be a great book for them, they are having so much fun creating scarves, bags and blankets.

  • What a great win this would be! I’d no doubt share with the ladies of my Stitch & Bitch. πŸ™‚

  • Thank you for the chance to win. I learned to crochet by self in February of this year! It is addicting!!!! πŸ™‚ I have already made three scarfs, a hat with brim, beanie hat, a bag, purse. I have not yet tried the granny square but have watched lots of videos regarding it and hope to start on it soon.

Every year i make christmas gifts from mitts, hats and scarves to afghans, dishcloth/towel sets and other little items. It would be amazing to win this and be able to make some new patterns and in my situation, even the yarn would be a big help. Good luck to everyone who entered. πŸ™‚
