Lion Brand had a fabulous time at Vogue Knitting Live in NYC this year! We sponsored two fashion shows at the weekend-long event. The first show featured our LB Collection of premium yarns and highlighted the industry’s most beloved designers, and was hosted by Adina Klein, Lion Brand’s Creative Director. Check out the designer showcase patterns here.
The second fashion show showcased our 2019 Colors of the Year, a gorgeous palette that you can read all about here. The fashion show was hosted by our Brand Ambassador Shira Blumenthal at the Gala Dinner, and featured designs in our latest yarns in on-trend knit and crochet pieces. See all the patterns and our full range of designs for the 2019 Colors of the Year on our website.
And Sutton Foster was the keynote speaker at the Gala Dinner! Sutton is a Tony-winning actress currently starring in the critically-acclaimed TV series Younger. We really enjoyed seeing Sutton’s beautiful crocheted work (including the top she was wearing and several afghans), and hearing all about her deep love of crochet and how it helped her get through a particularly difficult time.
We’re so proud to announce that Lion Brand’s CEO and President David Blumenthal was honored with a lifetime achievement award at the event! Our warmest congratulations to David.
Lion Brand also received an award celebrating 140 years of excellence. We were pleased to premier our Lion Brand 140th anniversary video at the event. Learn about our history and more in this short and sweet two-minute video below.
