Try This Stitch: Sample Afghan Progress

Progress report! Several weeks ago we introduced the Try This Stitch Sampler Afghan. This colorful piece is being worked from blocks using our Stitch Finder patterns. Each square measures approximately 10″ x 10″. The pieces are a mix of knit and crochet stitches, all of which use New Basic 175 yarn. (See each post page for additional details. Links are below.)

The stitches are (clockwise from the top left (in above photo):

Classic Cable and Rib – Knit in the “Camel” colorway
Crochet Shells – Worked in the “Plum” colorway
Simple Chevrons – Knit in “Turquoise”
Horseshoe Cables – Knit in the “Wisteria” colorway
Lace Stripes – Crocheted in “Eggplant”

New stitch patterns appear on the blog a minimum of twice monthly and alternate between knit and crochet stitches. Follow along with them all or choose the ones you like best!
